ROCK-A-HI…BABY…ON…THE…ROOF…TOP… is my favorite nursery rhyme. I sing it to my son every day and night, wishing the lyrics would come true.
I am a 37-year-old mom, who is taking care of a baby boy the first time ever in my life. I have never done this before; I am new to this category, this “job,” this identity.
Besides being a new mom at a mature–if not old–age, I am a part-time psychologist, teaching psychology at a university in Hong Kong; a freelance editor; and a amateur musician. And, I am a Christian, who has a Master of Divinity degree.
I don’t have a perfect background–that which I would dream of having but dare not to pray for–but every day I ask God to teach me about contentedness and every day I know that I do not lack of anything.
With the little sense remained in me, I want to make the best out of it. I need more wisdom in raising Rock and in teaching him about happiness in life.

ROCK IS MY SON; so, I am Rockamama. He is 7 months and 3 weeks old, and I am 36 years and 6 months older than he is. Rock is my “full-time” job right now. Otherwise, I work as a part-time lecturer when I have “free time.”

Hi Katty,
I enjoyed your blog very much. Life has been crazy for this year alone. Well, it’s too personal and so I keep it short. I just started my current job since September, and I enjoyed what I worked ~ though not too perfect (even with 5+ years of experience in my past job). Other than that, I do go to church but not as constant as before, mainly because I wanna to spend more time with my parents, as I’m still lived with them. You would think – am I going to settle down? My answer to you is – I’m not in rush and still try to figure who I would end up with – hopefully a Christian sister.
Anyway – hope to keep in touch – we can communicate in Facebook
In Him,
Andy

Hi, I just read from BK that you have tried the Banana Banana Studio, do you still have their number? I try to get into their web but seems doesn’t work. Would you pls kindly send to my email? Looking forward for your help, thanks
Dear Trudi: Glad to “meet” you here! Yeah, I’ve heard that their web site was down for a little while but it’s working now! http://www.bananabanana.net/Site/Banana_Banana.html
You can email them to make an appointment. Are you a mom as well?
